Yesterday I spent 8 hours on solving the resolution. Originally, the resolution is 800×600 and it looks weird in the game. PS ; before you edit the GraphicRules.sgr, make sure to take out that note from the files and place it on the desktop. If you don’t do it, you cannot save it as it will appear saying it needs the owner’s permission. Make sure to have a backup for your note too. hope this helps!

didn’t work for me, and i checked that the note was saved but i can only choose 320×200 in my sims settings
when installing i get “failed to get a non empty installation ‘AppId'” error. is there anyway to fix this ? nothing online is giving me any answers

i Love it so much def a better gameplay than sims 4,i wish sims 4 would have those interactions!.
I still have the problem with the shadows underneath the sims feet (black squares), I’ll try to play did a few adjustement.
Let me know if you find a fix. Downloaded it on the same day you did and can’t seem to find a fix for those annoying shadows

Too bad, I cannot install Direct X, so it’s totally unplayable. And I don’t really understand why

The game runs perfectly fine for me. The only issue i have is that the game is not maximized, instead it’s just a little box in the middle of my screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?
you can change the size in setting, have you tried that?
I tried to change the resolution by editing the GraphicRules.sgr (C:\Program Files (x86)\Mr Dj\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSData\Res\Config)
