De mon côté tous les quartiers (Montsimpa etc.) sont là. Si tu parles du centre-ville et de l’université, par exemple, il faut les ajouter manuellement à chaque quartier

Hello :3, i have installed the game yet unfortunatelly I can’t play it.
The program says that I don’t have a DirectX 9.0c compatiable graphics adapter on my computer :((.
I already tried numerous times to install the adapter using the intaller from the redisit, I also tried intalling DirectX from the Microsft webside.
Unfortunatlly all my attemts at fixing this issiue have been unsuccesfull >.:c!!!

it seems like you cant add custom into the game, I tried but it doesn’t show up
turns out i was putting my cc in the wrong place. Go to documents > EA games > sims 2 > if there isn’t was Downloads folder make one and make sure its a capital D > add your cc and mods there
trying to download but its saying “setup needs the next disk” what does this mean? someone helppp

Hey! it downloaded easy and smooth and i had no problem with that, but when i create a sim i cant give them a name. everything else is working fine but i cant write a name. the letters arent popping up, what can i do?
this game is old af, so its not working well on new computers or windows 10,11.

Downloaded fine & loads fine. When click on a family to play, crashes on loading screen. Changed graphics settings in file & downloaded Graphics Rules Maker. Still crashing on same point – any ideas?
Does anyone know how to change the language? I’ve tried to do the Run> Regedit>Software> etc thing a few times, and it just doesnt work.

in the graphics options, you can change the shadows down to medium or low, and this should fix it! 🙂

Okay so I’m running windows 11 and I got this to run really smoothly and it doesn’t actually take that much effort or fiddling. Honestly, expecting a game this old to run beautifully just from a download like this is unrealistic.
The first thing you need is the 4gb patch which is going to get the game up and running. Without this, it’s going to crash right on launch. Find it here: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=371.
Here is a tutorial on how to install it: https://ilovethesims2cc.tumblr.com/post/189291798952/very-important-note-for-the-sims-2-players.
There are 2 changes from that tutorial that you need to watch out for. ONE is that you’re going to apply it to “Mansion and Garden stuff” instead of “Fun With Pets” as this download doesn’t include that pack.
TWO is since this abandonware, and not from an official source, it’s location on your hard drive is going to be different than the tutorial.
Mine was This PC->Windows (C:)->Program Files(x86)->Mr DJ->The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection->The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff->TSBin. Apply the patch here to the application titled “Sims2EP9” and that part is over. This will get the game to launch.
If your experience is like mine, it’s going to crash while downloading the assets such at pets, hobbies, ect.
The last thing you need to do is install Graphics Rule Maker. This is what’s going to get the game to load completely and run smoothly. Here is the link for that: https://www.simsnetwork.com/tools/graphics-rules-maker.
These instructions you can follow exactly and it’s very simple and easy.
All of this worked for me, fingers crossed it helps some of you too!

Sims can’t woohoo in a bed or get pregnant? What’s up with that?

they can they just need to have a higher love score. my tip for you is to first make sure you have your sims have chemistry so look for the little lightning bolts. you can do it without them but it’ll take a bit longer. just make sure their friendship is high and then start flirting and doing the kiss options. eventually more options will appear then propose to live together and you’ll be able to get them to woohoo by having them relax first
