It tells me I need a valid code to install, there was nothing on this in the instructions, did I do something wrong?
It works, but seems to crash often and fairly quick. Is this normal?

when i try to install it (yes i followed all instructions to a T) i get an error of some sorts that pops up every time “the sims 2 mansion and garden stuff” with an X but nothing else and then the game just closes help would be much appreciated

In my games files folder, I can’t find the “Resolution change” file but only a “resolution fix file”. Even still, when removing the “resolution fix” file and changing the settings in graphic rules, I still get the permission message. I’ve only gotten as far as CAS but there is just random flashes and texture issues with my sims which is beginning to annoy me lol
Anybody able to help me get the 4gb patch working? Got as far as downloading it
How on earth do you make mods work on this game?
I’ve tried every single file in this game to put my downloads folder in, i’ve used package files for the mods (as you’re supposed to do) enabled custom content etc. But none of it is working for me! I’d really like assistance on this issue, because playing the sims 2 with only the vanilla hairs is KILLING ME! I’ve watched so so many tutorials as well, i’ve done everything right but my files always look different then the tutorials (Windows 10/11 i forgot.) T0T HELP!!!

Since this isn’t everything for the game does anyone know if you can download the missing packs from here in addition to this “ultimate collection”? Or will it corrupt the game files somehow? Thanks in advance
Does anyone know why when I download it, it shows as a normal RAR file, not a zipped file and will only try to open it up in WORD, but then says the file is to large? Ive tried everything i know how to get it to work, please help!
You need to install Winrar and open it with that and extract it. Rar is a different file than zip but does the same basic thing. Just requires a different app to open.
You need to install WinRAR on your computer to extract .RAR files
You can also use 7-zip
If you didn’t figure it out yet, you’ll have to use 7-ZIP or another unzipping tool.

I’m trying to install and its asking me to put it onto a disk but I don’t have a disk this is frustrating help
I figured out the disk stuff but now I need to figure out how even to play the game, when I click on the icon it makes my screen look weird and compacted but launching body shop is fine.
how did you fix the disk stuff?
I figured out the problem, I didn’t have a folder for the game.
Crashes after the title screen. ONCE I got it as far as selecting a town but never again. I have been trying to fiddle with the settings to make it work but nothing helps. I can’t change any of the in-game settings since I can barely even make it to that screen.
I have same problem on win 10, intel and nvidia 2080 rtx super and directX12. Anyone can give me a little help for the sims 2 to run on my PC please give me a email or message or teamviewer guide. I”m hopeless geezzz TT^TT
