DIrectX9 isn’t working for me for some reason.
Here in November 2022 and it works flawlessly!!! A few issues with res and graphics but easily rectified with some YouTube tutorials. I can’t wait to play!
So I played with my family for hours yesterday, opened up the game today and my family was gone! I have no mods or cc and would really like to be able to have a generations play. How can avoid loosing my sims when I open up the game?
When I open the game it says sims 2 garden and mansion, but the file says ultimate collection. Is this really the ultimate collection or do I have to download each pack?
No, it just says that because that’s the latest (and last) pack released for The Sims 2.
Seems to work fine on Windows 11, no issue changing the graphic settings in-game, but there is no option to turn shadows on. Downloaded and applied the 4GB patch in one of the comments below before running for the first time.

Hey! If you are struggling with the screen mode resolution, the directions are wrong. Go into mansion and garden stuff and navigate to CONFIG not CSCONFIG to change the screen resolution.
Hey all for this version if you are having repeated issues with the Screen Resolution not working its because the directions are wrong. Go Garden and Mansion stuff and then navigate to CONFIG NOT CSCONFIG to change the resolution settings.
This Game run on Windows 10 and 11. I missed this game over years and now i can play it. On Windows 10 and 11, you need the 4gb Patch and the Graphic Ruler.

You have to patch the base game and all of the Packs. If you dont want to play in really High Quality, you didn’t have to switch the graphics in the folder. I switched all in the Graphic Rules Maker.
It’s not working. Both the base game and the body workshop crash while loading.
