IF I download this plus the ikea pack will this be the ultimate collection. I just lost my ultimate collection from my EA account and I am trying to find a way to keep playing my game.

Hey, dear simmers! I can’t change the resolution in the game. The problem is that I can’t save the file GraphicRules after editing. It’s asking for admin rights. I got it ._. But it still won’t save… did someone had the same problem?
Not sure if it will work with u but try on this
right click on graphic rules in Reg folder, click properties and then go to security tab nd ther’s gonna be ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES & ALL RETRICED APPLICATION PACKAGES click one by one and hit ‘Full control’allow all of them and apply to all then u free to edit it

So I’ve been able to download everything but when I launch the game (as administrator) the game will nearly finish the loading screen then crash. Any idea how to fix this?

nvm found it, search ikea stuff here and follow the instructions (and if u find any other missing dlc u can find it here)
how to fix black square: hold ctrl+shift+c and type “boolprop simshadows false”
common problem with direct x: you probabbly have direct x instaled, so when it error while instaling just leave this and try playing game
Game crashed after I finished the first tutorial (wanted to see how it ran), does anyone know what might’ve happened? I have Windows 10 and run the game as administrator. Thanks 🙂

Do I have to delete my sims 3 files in order to download? I’m having problems downloading direct x

I have got black squares shadow under my sims and I dont know where I am supposed to put my mods, when I dont have a The Sims 2 folder in Documents.
Please help!!!
You have to turn down the quality of the shadows in the graphics I think
the game works it just has too many glitches to wear its blacks and colors and flashes it hurts my eyes to where i cant play it
Every time I go into create a family the sim, some of the floor, and a bit of the background is black. Anyway I can fix this?
