Hello. Anyone knows how can i install the packeges? Or they are already installed ? If i open the game it comes always with the garden and smooths expansion. There are no Ikea thing inside but in the Games Folder there are all of the Expansions.

Uh, so basically Mansion and Garden is the latest pack for TS2, so the loading screen will always show Mansion and garden. The game has all of expansion, except ikea.

I played for 3 hours and saved my game, but when I loaded up the game again I started at the very beginning and lost all of my progress! How can I fix this??

The game works fine, but how would I go about installing custom content in order to get it to appear in game? I have some downloaded, but it’s not showing up in my game so I don’t know what the issue is.

when i install the sims 2 it asks me to put a location for the disc. even if i choose one it won’t work. my Mr DJ folder on Program Files (x86) is empty too so i don’t know what to choose there
again, make sure to EXTRACT setup before installing. also run setup.exe as administrator.

Well, first of all I want to say: “Please read others comment before commenting the same problem!!”
1. Stop asking the same question over and over, it is tedious to answer it all. Because of that, I will end my free-support starting from 1 June 2021
2. If you guys still resist to use the resolution-change.txt tutorial, well open Program Files x86 instead of Program Files. This is important, otherwise you not gonna find Mr DJ folder.
3. If you have 2 or more GPU (especially modern middle-class laptop), it’ll have Optimus technology. Basically your laptop/pc will decided what GPU they’ll use. If the Driver detects that the program is office/browser apps, well it will use the power saving GPU instead (like Intel HD).
Otherwise, if the driver detects it is a Gaming program, then the laptop will use the “dedicated gpu” instead (like NVIDIA GeForce).
Sims 2 is detected as office apps (because driver doesn’t know what kind of program it is, too old). So TS2 will run on Intel HD, which is sucks. To change it, you need to manually change that in Settings > Graphics Settings (type that in search box).
4. Extract the setup to D:/ drive before installing to avoid “Decompression Error 12”. Use WinRAR, if you don’t have it, download on its official website. Ignore the trial, it lasts forever
ok so I got it to work but I can´t change the resolution, the txt file isn´t helping either because I don´t have the files they are talking about in it so I can´t edit them

sadly there´s nothing to edit there in mr dj files? only sims 2 body shop, sims 2 ultimate collection and uninstall sims 2
Go to Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, or just use Graphics Rules Maker instead
Hi, sorry if this has came up before, but I just downloaded this today and it has worked perfectly up to the point where I try to create a sim. Then it crashes the game fully. Is there a possible fix for this?
