HI! I wanna ask, If i currently have sims 4 installed, what do i do with the EA folder in the documents?
Dont delete it, only delete “EA Games” folder if there is any.
So I have downloaded this and it works great, I love it! But I really wanna know if I can put CC into this version of the game? I tried that when I first downloaded the original Sims 2 from you guys and it broke. Is there a way to add a cc folder to this or will this break too?
No, create a new folder in Documents/EA games/The Sims 2, called “Downloads”. And then paste your cc there.
This should work with original sims 2 game too
Hi, Everything seems to be working ok however when I logged back on after playing on the Pleasant family and on a family I created, both the houses with the furniture and items are still there but the sims are not living there and have disappeared completely, any advice on how to fix?
Hi I had the same issue, my new family wasn’t there at all (I created students and put them in the dorm) but the dorm is there so it obviously did save as I had to add the university world first. So strange, don’t know what I need to do to fix it. Any luck on your end?

Go onto a family then change the shadows.

Thanks to @osab, now you guys do not need to confused with this Ultimate Collection anymore!
My tutorial is still around, tho. Now it is specialized for people who want to have the feels of installing EP one by one from 2004.

N.B: Origin Ultimate Collection does have issues with Sims2EP9.exe, so some old mods, will require extra skills.

Hi my game isn’t saving correctly and I followed all the steps. When I go back into the game the family I created is missing even though the world is there (I made students in the University world which is still there, just no students). Any idea how I can retrieve these?
Run as administartor. If the issues is not fixed, then run without admin permission
it wont load just crashes at loading screne i tryed reinstaling it to no avail

Hello. I am trying to change my resolution but there is no folder with the game packs, theyre just there as files. There’s no folder in them so there’s no TSData folder that I can click on as there is no folder from the packs that I can go in to. How can I do this?

Use graphics rules maker and 4 gb patch to fix the issues.

From a few issues in the past, I DO Not recommend you to install IKEA Home Stuff in top of this, because its installed in different folder.
If you still want to install IKEA Stuff, then change the directory to Mr DJ, not the default installation path (which is EA Games).

i re installed the game, it installs properly then it says unspecified error and doesnt launch~~ !
idk whats wrong, I extracted the file using winrar. the game installed anywway in a proper way, but when i launch it..it says this program has compatibility issues!! The game doesnt LAUNCH! i did everything crack copy n all, pplzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell me whata going on. shud i open it with ip winzip only?
run the game with compatibility mdoe set to XP Service Pack 2
absolutely do not use compatibility mode or you will make it worse
Use compatibility mode, and combine it with 4gb patch. TS2 is designed to work with Windows XP.
But because ultimate collection (from this repack) is from 2008, you can change the compatibility mode to Vista instead, also make sure to use Graphics Rules Maker.
You can use the compatibility mode, and dont worry about the 4gb patch. It will still do the job. Check the config.log file for more info.
