How can I change the location of the file? My game is originally located in local disc C but it doesn’t have space enough, therefore I want to move it to local disc D. Will there be a problem?
I think yes, because it is a repack, and will always be BUGGY. I recommend you to download base game instead, tehn adding more Expansion one by one. Here is the link: https://oldgamesdownload.org/the-sims-2/
this is a terrible repack and its not even actually the ultimate collection, just use the REAL ultimate collection from osab.tumblr.com/ts2
I installed it and it is installed, the game launches too but….
when i move any family to any household, it never loads!! It keeps on loading and never opens the game!

It works but my saved games are gone if I restart my game. so frustrating
Make sure you click save button. This is a old game, doesnt have Auto save
I have the same issues and I have been using the save button. All Sims games have save buttons since you can rage quit without saving, so the issue is in the game or configuration!

I downloaded the game, but I don’t get an icon that I can click on to start the game. Any help? 🙂
And if i try to reinstall it, with the mr Dj stuff, it says they cannot find a disk. If i click on okay it downloads. when i try to launch it, it says there isnt any game downloaded, and that i have to make sure sims 2 is downloaded.
How can I put tricks on? Such as motherlode or testinghcheatsenabled true.

I downloaded this last week and added IKEA stuff like it says above, but whenever I load the game, it only loads Mansion & Garden stuff, not any of the other dlc’s??
No, it loads all EP and SP. The reason why your game only showed up Mansion and garden stuff in loading screen, is because M&G stuff is the newest version of The Sims 2. No matter what expansion you installed, if you have Mansion and garden stuff, then it will always show Mansion and garden stuff at launch.
The first time I downloaded this, I was able to play for hours on end. Then the next day when I went to go play again, the game started crashing as soon as I loaded up a neighborhood. The cause is the Mansion & Garden stuff pack and I can’t get the game to work properly.

I just downloaded this. I previously downloaded this game before and it worked fine. Now, when I click to open the game, my computer freezes and my window resolution changes. I checked on task manager, and it says that the game is not responding. Is there anything I can do???
just let it sit for a while and it should just start working, mine did the same thing.
Dont do anything when your game is freeze (when starting). If you start the game in windowed mode, then open Documents/EA GAMES/The Sims 2 folder, you will see that the game generating a few folder while it freeze.
everything works fine but it crashes if i try to create a new sim can it be fixed?
