I screwed up. AND NOW I CAN’T UNINSTALL THE APP THANKS TO YOU!!! NOT EVEN WITH NOVA UNINSTALLER!!!
CALM DOWN JAMAL DONT PULL OUT THE F!CKING 9!
ive tried to drag the crack into the start icon but it keeps saying it needs the disk to play. im so sad. anyone know how to resolve this??
You drag it to the games install directory on your computer not the start icon
I can get the game to work but it won’t save, anyone know what to do?
Run as administrator
What worked after the “start. exe” not working (it appears on task manager but doesn’t show anything else), not even in compatibility mode and running as administrator was:
– going for the actual “setup. exe” inside the Setup file, using compatibility mode (Windows XP Service Pack 2 was what I used) and also running as administrator. Don’t forget the crack file and making the same thing for the cracked “Sims. exe” (compatiblity mode, WinXP SP2 and running as adm).
Hope this helps.
It has installed and i can play it but it is only the original game and none of the add ons. Can anyone help?
Its saying the serial number is wrong 🙁
try CMMD E8HB 2PEP HZ7R HSTH
so the game works fine but I want to be able to use the sims creator as well but every time I try to load it up it asks to insert a CD. Does anyone know how to get past this?
I’m having a problem with loading the game. I’m installing this on a old XP laptop I have and when I launch the game, it shows the EA logo and then shows “The Sims: Complete Collection” logo but in weird colors. The game closes shortly after.
May I ask why the installation process keeps asking me to put in the CD? How can I solve it? Thank you
Yeah, same… Sad mario 🙁
It’s saying it can’t find The Sims data directory. Also, I can’t replace the shortcut in the game file, is that bad?
I am having the same exact issue!! I can’t find anything that gives me answer to solve this issue.
Soooo.. That’s the problem. I have enough space and it only says that i don’t have enough space. Is there any solution to solve this, please?

my game keeps crashing as soon as i select the resolution i want to play with. Idk what to dooo
If your Start.exe isn’t responding at all, and setup.exe is crashing with the message “Setup is having trouble shutting down the autoplay”, here is what made it all work for me on Windows 10:
1. Download
2. Extract All Files with 7zip
3. Go to your Windows Start Menu -> Settings -> Accounts -> Family and Other Users -> Add Someone else to this PC
4. Click “I don’t have this persons sign-in information” -> Click “Add user without a microsoft account” -> Name account whatever you want and don’t add a password
5. Log over to that new account and let it load
6. Log back over to the account you downloaded Sims on and locate the unzipped file “thesimscompletecollection_201912” -> Right click -> Give Access To -> Click dropdown Menu and find the new account -> Change permission to read & right for the new account -> Share and close
7. Log over to the new account
8. Go to File Explorer -> Network -> Click on your computer -> Users -> Your main account -> Locate the file above and copy it to your new accounts desktop
9. Now we will try to install again, within the files go into Setup and right click Setup.exe, Run it as Administrator
10. This time (hopefully) the installation process will begin, use the serial code EQMV-73XB-F8J4-GSLX-4M67
11. If you get the prompt to register, click register later
12. When it asks where you want to save the game, locate it to the desktop (This will prevent it from crashing repeatedly when you finally get the game running)
13. Go into the New Installed Folder on your desktop and rename Sims.exe to Sims.old.exe
14. Go into the old folder -> Open “The Sims Crack” -> Right Click and Copy the File within
15. Go back to the New Installed Folder and paste that file where the “sims.old.exe” is located
16. Share the newly Installed desktop folder with your main windows account like you did with the previous file and log back over
17. Make sure the Folder is still place on the desktop on your main account
18. Click “Sims.exe” and run the game
With any luck, your game will run perfectly from this point forward. No crashes, no issues etc.
Good luck!
I’ve gotten to the install screen, but it says drive C is full. Any idea how I can fix that? I’m installing on a mac using wine btw
