Hi ! I downloaded and installed successfully ! When I launch the game, it does normally but when I try to load a map, it crashes. Do you know what’s wrong ?

I was wondering if there was any way i can reset sims 2 progress after downloading it off this sight, every video ive tried to look up only gave me information on how to reset the game if you downloaded it off EA.
do you mean the neighborhoods? iirc, delete the neighborhoods folder from your documents/ea games/sims 2 folder… the game will remake new ones
When I did this the game started saying “Sims 2 is not installed” and not launching anymore

The expansions build off of each other. You are playing them all.

in the sims 2 (documents) folder, create a folder called “Downloads”
then u can put the .package/.scripts there
i would like to play the game without all the expansion packs, how do i do that? i got the game running fine but when i move all the expansion packs so they are no longer in the game folder or try to run simply “The Sims 2”, I get an error telling me to insert a disc.
just download the base game on here and delete the ultimate collection
