How long does this take to download?
Depends on internet speed
It depends on two things:
1) Internet speed (obviously)
2) And whether there is a bandwidth limit from which your downloading the Sims from.
Sites tend to “throttle” users who download their content and if you download this via torrent, it will depend on the seeders available. Seeders are computers that share parts or all of the files.
In any option you choose when downloading though, I would say within 30 minutes?
I saved my game but when I go back to play it again the save isnt there. Is there away for me to fix it so I dont lose my save next time?

I have no space on my disk , so is it okay if i tried to setup the game in another place or should it be on disk?

You can install the game on another disk, but don’t install it on removable drive.
i have the sims 4 , so i have an ea folder in my documents so is it okay to download this while i already have an ea folder ?
no it wont because sims to has EA games folder and sims 4 has electronic arts so it wont replace
I downloaded and installed the game, I have a screen : the sims “mansion and garden”… is it the ultimate pack or just one extension ?
its the ultimate pack. mansion and garden will show up every time but its just because it was the last installment to come out
That is everything! Sims2 just used a method of showing off the latest pack you’d gotten. M&G is the last they released, that’s why it’s shown.

Can’t change language. I did everything that is said in the Language change file. But in game just empty spaces instead of words.

I’d wanted to change the resolution of the game but when I open the TSData file I don’t have file called ‘Res’, there is the only one ‘Control’ but neither I can’t change anything in it.

Every time I click setup it says “An error occurred while unpacking: unabe to write data to disk! Unarc.dll returned an error code: -11 ERROR:file write operation failed” some one please help me im not sure what to do
have you extract them with winrar/7zip? dont run the setup directly from zip.
I’ve installed it exactly as it says, although I have installed it to an external hard drive (I’m not allowed to fill my husband’s laptop with Sims games). When I try to click on the desktop link, it says the sims 2 is not installed so you can’t play this expansion pack. If I go and find the base game .exe it says please insert the correct disc. What am I doing wrong? I have all the games already from my childhood but this laptop has no disc drive.
Launch the sims2ep9.exe in the sims 2 mansion and garden stuff folder, not sims2.exe
Does anyone have a fix on the 800×600 resolution? You cannot edit these files because it is a torrent and the readme involving the resolution does not apply because you cannot edit torrent files. Is there a download with the higher resolutions or another solution? Playing in 800×600 is not ideal
