Says I keep getting an error code -11 and it says something on the lines of: “Unable to write data to disc.”

That is because you don’t have enough disk space, it did the same for me. Free enough space and it will work
when i go to open the game, the pop up says I don’t have Sims 2 downloaded.
Hi ive done all of this and followed all the steps and it still wont let me launch as administrator as it still comes up with my graphics error i only know how to fix this via the disc but not with this download please help !!!
I accidentally launched the game without saying to “run as administrator”, and it loaded just fine for me. Maybe try that?

The game works perfectly! I do have one concern, how come there isn’t neighborhoods that the base game or packs come with? It only lets me make custom neighborhoods. Is there a way I can add the already made neighborhoods to my game?

Hi, I was wondering if you could use this download on a mac?
There’s a mac version of the sims 2 on the app store I believe. It would no longer qualify as an abandonware however.
I’ve finished the installation however when I try to run the application it asks me to insert a CD. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

How do I fix the rexolution and the lighting, my sims appear really light during CAS and they has black shadows underneath.
adjust your shadows in the settings of the game

Hi! Does anyone know why the black square still appears in the 1600×900 resolution? I put the shadows in medium or off but the square doesn’t go away. Any help?

I use “boolprop simshadows false”. You won’t see Sims’ normal shadows anymore but at least the rectangles go away.
