Game Description
The Sims (also known as The Sims 1 or The Sims Classic) is a life-simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts on February 4, 2000 for Windows, and July 25, 2000 for Mac OS X. The game only has a single-player mode. There is no goal defined in The Sims,and players must develop their characters as they go through different life stages. Characters which the player controls can interact with other in-game characters, develop relationships (both negative and positive) and can even start families together. Characters can also be assigned certain tasks to develop life skills, which enables them to progress in their careers and increase their salaries.

When I tried to download it I was told it wasn’t there any more.

for some reason the sims.exe file doesn’t read the files and says it doesn’t have the cd isn’t in the computer. how do I fix this

This is everything it says it is it works like a charm it includes all seven expansion packs and is easy to install (though you will need a application like WinRAR to extract the .rar file) overall very good thank you.
“defult graphics card doesn’t support thousands of colors.” What? But it can. How can I get past this?
hi I just downloaded the game followed every single step with the Youtube instructions you made . also set the compatibility and ran as adminisitrator too . but I when I tried save the game ( while playing) it just froze and everything was unresponsive. then after a few minutes sims exited and everything is good again 🙁 help
Hi, i cant get past the part where i’m supposed to drag the crack .exe into the game directory. It just tells me windows cant create a shortcut here.
dont drag, copy and paste. i had the same issue
yes copy & paste if u drag = file corrupted.

Had to restart system after extracting file to desktop BEFORE (start.exe) could work.
The serial code works.
Installation was PRETTY LONG at 95% but it did go through. It stayed for ~30secs?
In game installation for ALL the expansion was pretty long too but well, it’s ALL the expansion packs right? xD

I cant even download the game. the mega.nz website doesn’t seem to work for me. can anyone please advise?
I am able to play the base game with no expansions but if I attempt to leave my home I am stuck at an infinite loading screen and am forced to alt + tab out. I feel it is something with the crack, is anyone else having this issue?
