In the Instructions, it says to disable anti-virus, do I/WE need to do that? im not sure if its safe since it is pirating after all.

I just can’t add some cc in the game. I tried putting it on Documents/EA Games/The sims 2 and on the other game folder but it doesn’t work…

It goes “an error occurred while unpacking: Unable to write data to disk! Unarc.dll returned an error code: -11 ERROR; file write operation failed” no matter what I do :c is there a infallible methode to counter that ?

i can start the game and play it normally, however as soon as i try to edit the graphics rules, i get the message that i do not have access to change that document and i can’t install cc because there’s so right folder to put it in…
right click graphics rules and click run as administrator, you should be able to apply the edits now.
Can’t download cc. It won’t extract. Like it should and there is really no folder for me to put a downloads folder in with this game.
I should clarify, I know that the game does come with a folder. I have to make a downloads folder with a capital D, thats not the issue. I dont know where to put the downloads folder. On the disk version it has EA games sims 2, Etc. But on the download for this site when i click the sims 2 UC it just has setup Tsdata etc. so i put my folder there, But after extracting the file and moving it to the download folder it just shows a white piece of paper… Where do i put the downloads folder. I know how to do it. I have the sims 2 disk but not expansions and i had cc, but i liked more options i had with the UC..
On my windows 11 it is:
C:\Users\your-user\OneDrive\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
if Downloads doesn’t exist you have to create it, with a capital D! This worked for me
HI can someone help pls? Ive come back to this site several times to play the sims 2, but after a while of playing my whole system crashes and I dont want to risk another redownload and factory reset 🙁 pls help

its not letting me change the screen size even after i go through the steps in graphics rules, what do i do?
Can someone help me out? I am trying to fix my game’s resolution and the water glitch (the solid blue water in neighborhood mode). I can’t find specific files in my game folder such as “TSData” and “Graphics Rules.sgr”. Everything else seems to work fine so I don’t understand why I can’t find these files.
