The game downloaded fine even let me add the expansion packs but I can’t get pass create a sim without the game crashing.
I can’t download the direct x things it tells me i need because I have more recent ones can anyone help me get around this

When I click on the setup.exe file and the game finishes downloading it saying that I need the code to even download the game, it makes no sense please help.
have you extracted the setup?
yes i have. i redid it 3 times all with using extraction on the setup and it still says i need the code on the back of the DVD case to finish installing the game.

I’m sorry if this question has been asked but, what packs arnt included in this version. i looked online it said the ultimate collection should all the packs and stuff packs. and can I download the other packs from this website?
This version does have all the expansion and stuff packs, but I think they’re also available for people who already got previous versions.
Hello guys, i downloaded it today and get a similar error as britney, it just says the game has crashed and no further info, i have tried several things i read here and there but it still doesnt fix it, any ideas?
I downloaded the game today and sadly it wont open for me. I have tried the launcher option, run as admin nothing. It looks like its goings to load with a blue screen and then nothing. I do get a screen pop up saying the screen is not currently set to the recommended resloution configure the pc reslutiuon to 2550X1440

You can’t download cc from this website, but there are websites like The Sims Resource that have a ton of Sims 2 cc available.
Hello before i changed my games resolution there was no black sqaure under my sims. now that i have changed it there are black sqaures under all my sims. my shadows are off and i have toggeled it on and off and it wont go away. pls help me
i’d suggest downloading this mod and turning your shadows back on and seeing if this works. otherwise, post a discussion about it on the official sims forum or on the sims 2 reddit.

The game crashes during the loading screen (after the intro)– I run the game as administrator, is there anything I’m missing? Thank you!

When I run sims2ep9, It still says: The Sims 2 is not installed on this system, or some requires files have been deleted. This expansion pack requires The Sims 2 in order to run. Please install the Sims before attempting to run this application.

im so confused. its asking for a disk?? but when i click ok it doesnt work.
in the Games Files folder, when i click on Setup.exe it says Setup-1.bin is corrupted, i’ve tried everything. it will open the installer but it will say to insert disc 1 which is the setup1.bin.. i really don’t know how to fix it 🙁 i downloaded the game on Opera if that means anything.
