i downloaded this and got it working but after i fixed the resolution the black boxes instead of shadows happened again and im not sure how to get rid of them. i’ve tried changing the shadow quality and they just dont change

I downloaded the file, but it was just a file (though it was still a rar file) not a folder, so I couldn’t unzip it. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong or how to properly download this file?

I am having an issue. I have installed the game. installed the direct x. installed the graphics rules. installed the LazyDuchess launcher. The game loads full screen and I get to the main neighborhood selection and after i select/create one it starts loading and then crashes. I have deleted and reinstalled about 5 times. I have tired editing the graphics rules file directly. I have tied not installing the direct x. I have adjusted compatibility from xp service pack 3 to vista service pack 2 and it crashes no matter what i do.
I’m having a similar problem, most times I am able to go into neighborhoods, create families, etc. but every time I try to load a household, the game crashes. I’ve tried everything listed above as well. 🙁

Could it be because I have Windows 11 installed? I got it to work once before I had this problem, but I couldn’t interact with anything properly in-game.

I downloaded this game many times. Now I downloaded it again. The game runs smoothly but there are only 2 maps. When I played before, the maps of all the additional packages were also visible. Why is that now?
Hi, the game is working really great and I always love the games downloaded from this site.. 😊 You know, many people just love old videogames from the 90s and 2000s.🕹 But, what I seem downly from this site, is that the link to some games (even this), downloads really slowly. The other games such as Spiderman, etc, they are linked with MEGA, so they are much faster. Can you link this game to the MEGA site too? Because this was my favourite game, when I was a kid. Anyways, thanks a bunch for keeping this website. I💙it. (REMINDER : please fix that issue for this game)

Hi, did everything with the 4gb pack and the graphicrules app. But I cannot start the game itself. I made a shortcut and as I try to click on it, it says: ‘The Sims 2 is not installed on this system, or some required files have been deleted. This expansionpack requires The Sims 2 in order to run. Please install The Sims 2 before attempting to run this application.’
I have downloaded it 4 times now and don’t want to do it again!!! Help.
