Hello, I have the following problem. I want to change the language I also found the Sims 2 Packs + game in the registry editor but there is nowhere a folder with the name “1.0” only “ergc”. Can someone help me there?
Not sure how active these comments might be, but I seem to have a consistent crash anytime I attempt to use CAS. Specifically when selecting the actual, create a sim button.
I have tried the 4GB patch that somebody in the thread mentioned, as well as running it in a few different compatibility modes, and don’t seem to have any luck.
Any ideas or fixes?

uninstall everything
reinstall (use chrome)
unzip using 7zip (free dl) and extract files to desktop
follow all the instructions on the top of the page, including running the installer and installing direct X

I can’t find the “mansion and garden stuff” folder to edit the resolution. It’s not in the “sims 2 ultimate collection” folder. Am I just looking in the wrong place or was it removed?

Thank you for this. It helped me finally find the folder. But now that i have changed what needed to be changed in the graphics rules, i cant save it. When i try to save, it just sayes i don’t have access. How can i fix this?

hey so i need some help, if i try to run sims 2 then it goes to a black screen then back to my home screen but extra zoomed in. it was working before, how can i fix this

Im also having the same difficulties as well. And I still dont get what the problem is because it used to work so well even few months ago. I’m just trying to reinstall in case I’ve touched the wrong files (not seemingly tho). Hope you find a solution and share with everyone whose struggling.

OK I need some serious help. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the original inteenimater apartment life flavour pack? Because at some point the only flavour pack i actually want right now was removed from it. It’s making me want to cry tomorrow I’m going to have to dig out my old laptop from the shed on the off chance that it somehow has a copy of it downloaded.😫
Still sad. Literally the only other mod I want and it’s the one thing I can’t find. Went to try to find old laptop but only found the wiped one which really doesn’t help. Still trying to figure out why I found the charger for the missing laptop but not the laptop. Please does anyone have a copy of the old flavour packs
Can anyone help me. I am trying to fix the resolution but when i go in to TSData i don’t have config as a file? I have ‘Catalog’, ‘Lights’, ‘Locale’ and about 10 others but i can’t find the GraphicRules.sgr file that needs to be ammended to pllay in fullscreen?
Just so everyone knows, there is none of the classic sims 2 annimations.
Also, if you try and invite sims out on a date or for a night out, they will not show up. So, you must only invite people over to your house for those events to work properly.
I’ll keep looking for more bugs, but those were the major ones that hindered me a bit.
Hurray for sims 2. The only sims I care about. I have everything in disc form but the compatibility is near trash and my current laptop doesn’t even have a disc drive. I was fine when I still had the double deluxe version before it got too scratched up on my old laptop which had windows 8.1 but using the original 4 disc version of sims to install it brought the speed down to a crawl and compatibility was worse and I’d have to wait for each and every page of objects in the store to load which took forever. Only noticed this was free on origin a few months after it stopped being on origin so I was pretty annoyed about that.
same! i found out that origin had the sims 2 ultimate collection for free, but i was annoyed when i found out they weren’t doing it anymore. i want to download from this site, but i’m just unsure whether it’s a virus
Just to butt in real quick, it was totally safe for me, but if you’re ever in doubt, just run a virus scan on files you download before opening, extracting and/or running them.
it’s not a virus, this site is completely safe to download the game from, it might require a few steps however in order for you to get the game to work
Just wondering what will happen if I try to install with antivirus turned on.
Also does anyone know what version of inteenimater mod is compatible with this version?
