The rar is corrupted. I tried repairing it with WinRAR but it didnt work. Please reupload the proper working rar file?
the game has been set up and works pretty much perfectly aside from minor things that don’t really affect gameplay. however i can’t get the cheats bar to pop up and i’ve tried ctrl shift c, and ctrl shift windows key and c. it’s really frustrating since i find the game hard to play without cheats. any advice?

I using a MacBook Pro and installed this game on Windows XP via VMware Fusion. When I launch the game it flashes black and pink. Is there any way to fix this?
Ah! the black and pink glitch. Actually not your problem at all! You should go on youtube and look up 4gb patch for sims 2! It will fix your game up
i downloaded the game and it worked. but every time i try to create a new sim, the actual sim never loads. the mouse icon changes as if there’s a sim there and i can rotate it, but there isn’t a sim. and i can’t click anything else. i can’t even exit create a sim. please help

Just like the sims 4! go to your downloads folder by going to documents-EA games-The sims 2-Downloads- and create yourself a mods folder. I recommend to be organized such as make a folder for Hair-Clothes- and more! I hope this helped you
I have no option to change the res at all! … The file I downloaded (using the torrent) hasn’t got the file to change res so im super confused. In the game files I have autorun, icon, language change, resolution fix (which does nothing), setup, setup 1 bin, setup 2 bin and that’s it. Can help one help? Graphics are shocking without changing res.
How do I make this work? Installed both Sims 2 and DirectX, ran the game, nothing happens except my resolution changes. I still see my desktop, there’s a Sims icon in taskbar, but I can’t switch to it. I can’t kill the process, I can’t do anything. AMD/Windows 10 build btw.
Never mind, used a graphics rule maker and it works now.

Mac download?
The game downloaded fine but it says that i dont have the DirectX 9.0. Do i have to download 9.0 or is there another way?
The game crashes as soon as I try to change the family name, or sometimes just when I try to customise the sim. At first, I had downloaded only sims 2 (without the EPs) and the same thing happened. I removed it from my PC to try and download the ultimate collection. My PC has enough space to support the game, and I followed the installation process perfectly. Does anybody have an idea of what might have went wrong?
