Won’t let me save changes in Graphics rules for Resolution fix. Says that I don’t have a permission to open this file and should see the owner of the file to obtain permission.
Move the files to your desktop folder then back to where they were and try again.
It won’t let me create a family or load a family. It crashes every time.

I did all the steps but then when it came to the Redist folder, it wouldn’t let me install it because it said I have the latest version already but then the game won’t open because it’s saying there’s no compatible DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter
Put space -w in the target propertys to get it to work
Once the game starts loading after opening it just crashes

Yes it’s still possible to mod the games and it’s very easy
after my download its nothing to open
help when i downloaded it i cant extract it its not a zip or anything just a file called “the sims 2 ultimate collection.rar”
you’ll need to download an app like 7zip or winrar to extract .rar files, both are free and fairly popular and reliable.
