The following information was implemented/changed after the
Technical Supplement went to press.

INVESTMENT RESTRICTIONS

        Due to anti-trust regulations you may only invest (buy stock)
        in ONE other railroad at the Investor and Financier difficulty
        levels, TWO railroads at the Mogul level, and all THREE
        railroads at the Tycoon level.  Of course, you may always buy
        stock (Treasury Stock) in your own railroad.

DIFFICULTY FACTOR

        Difficulty Factor:
                Investor:   10%   +5% for each reality level selected.
                Financier:  30%   +5% for each reality level selected.
                Mogul:      50%  +10% for each reality level selected.
                Tycoon:     70%  +10% for each reality level selected.


BUILD INDUSTRY
        
        The following industries cannot be built by your railroad,
        they must appear as a part of normal development:

            FORTS.
            TEXTILE MILLS.


        In addition, POWER PLANTS may not be built in England.


MOUSE COMMANDS

    TRAIN ROSTER
        The train roster can display a maximum of 20 trains at one time.
        If your railroad has more than 20 trains, click below the last
        train to see your last 20 trains, click above the first train
        to see your first 20 trains.
    

KEYBOARD COMMANDS

    TRAIN INCOME REPORT
        The 'up-arrow' key will return you to the previous page of this
        report.


RAILROAD SIZE 

        You may have up to 32 trains on your railroad.

        You may have up to 32 depots+stations+terminals on your railroad.  

        You may have up to 96 signaltowers+depots+stations+terminals on 
        your railroad.  


ROLAND SOUND 

        In order to assure proper operation, please remove any other
        MIDI input connections when using Roland sound hardware. 

SOUND DRIVERS

    CUSTOM DRIVERS    
        In the future, MicroProse may supply custom sound drivers
        for new sound boards.  To install one of these drivers, 
        copy it into your game directory (disk B if on floppies),
        rename the driver program to XSOUND.EXE, and select 'Custom
        sound driver' when starting the game.
