Starting! --------- When you insert the Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 CD-ROM into the CD drive for the first time, you'll be prompted to 'Install' the game. We also have an automated update method that is available if you have an internet connection. Launch Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3, select a hunter, then click on the 'Settings' button. Click the 'Game Options' button, then the 'Internet Update' button. If an update is available, then it will be downloaded for you. You should then execute this update from the directory in which you installed Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3. Follow the instructions it to update your game to the current version. Known Bugs and Work-arounds --------------------------- 1. Flicker of Toolbar in Software --- Fix unknown right now, check our webpage often! In the Settings screen you can try selecting Profile 1 as a solution. 2. FLicker of Scope/Binocular view? -- This is related to some texture management on accelerator cards. Go to the Setting screen, and choose Display. You will see that the option 'Fast Scopes' is checked. Uncheck this option and it should fix the flicker. But, you will see a slight performance hit. 3. Problems with Multiplayer? --- There is an update to DirectX on your Install CD! Insert your Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 CD into the drive and go to the /directx directory. From this directory run the file 'DX7Aeng.exe' 4. Flickering overlays (decals - animal tracks) on certain accelerator cards. This is a driver issue, you should obtain latest drivers for your video card. If you are experiencing display problem, problems with the graphics palette, cursor problems or other performance issues, we strongly recommend that you run Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 in FULL SCREEN mode. There are no issues if you use the maximum graphics options. 5. If Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 is running very sluggish it could be because you don't have enough free space on the hard drive. Try creating additional space if you have less than 50 megabytes of free space on your hard drive. 6. LAPTOPS - If you cannot run Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3 on your laptop computer, you should check to insure that you are running the game in Windowed mode.
