Video Displays -------------- If your system is configured with an incorrect or outdated video driver, you may discover that the program runs slowly or even freezes. If you encounter these problems, please contact your video display manufacturer. You may also try to download the latest drivers from the web if your video card manufacturer has a web site. If you still need help, please call SegaSoft Customer Support at: 1-888-SEGASOFT. Virtual Memory ============== If you experience performance issues or there is not enough memory to run the Grossology game you may want to increase the Virtual Memory settings on your computer. First check if you have enough free harddisk space, Windows uses the harddisk as Virtual Memory. If you are running low on free harddisk space Windows will have less Virtual Memory available. It is advised to have at least as much Virtual Memory as real RAM memory. So if your computer has 16 MB RAM you will want to have an additional 16 MB of Virtual Memory too. Therefore, in this case you will need to have at least 16 MB of free harddisk space on your computer. What causes the No Suitable Output Device error? ============================================= If you encounter this error message it is most likely that you have DirectSound (part of the DirectX drivers) and/or RSX installed on your computer. In some cases Grossology may conflict with DirectSound causing the No Suitable Output Device error message to appear. To fix this problem you need to restore your audio drivers. Please do as follows: - From the START menu select SETTINGS -> ControlPanel - Double-Click on the Add/Remove Programs icon - Double-Click on the DirectX Drivers menu. - Press the Restore Audio Drivers button and reboot your computer.
