Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster v1.0

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
====================
* 486DX-25 or faster
* 8MB of RAM or greater
* Super VGA video adapter (supporting 640x480x256 color resolution)
   and color monitor
* MPC compliant sound card and double speed CD-ROM drive
* Microsoft mouse or 100% compatible
* Windows 3.1 or higher (including Windows 95)
* MS-DOS version 5.0 or higher
* MSCDEX version 2.2.1 or higher
* 10MB free on hard drive
* Apple QuickTime 2.03 or newer (Program optionally installs QuickTime 2.03)

INSTALLATION:
=============
To install Frankenstein onto your hard drive from Windows 3.1:

 1) Insert the Frankenstein CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive
 2) From Windows, access the File Manager and double click on the
    install.exe file on the CD-ROM.  Follow the instructions to copy the
    game files, music files, and application to your hard drive.
 3) Follow the instructions to install QuickTime on your hard drive.
    A Frankenstein program group will be created in the Program Manager.
 4) Re-boot your computer.
 5) To start the program, double click the Frankenstein icon.

To install Frankenstein onto your hard drive from Windows 95:

 1) Insert the Frankenstein CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive
 2) When the AutoPlay dialog box appears, select "Install Frankenstein"
    and follow the instructions to install the files to your hard drive.
 3) Follow the instructions to install QuickTime on your hard drive.
    A Frankenstein program group will be created in the Program Manager.
 3) Re-boot your computer.
 4) To start the program, double click the Frankenstein icon, or choose
    "Run Frankenstein" from the AutoPlay dialog box.

QUICKTIME:
==========
We have provided the latest version (at press time) of Apple QuickTime 
for Windows (version 2.03).  You should always install the latest version
of QuickTime.

If, however, you encounter video performance problems after installing
QuickTime version 2.03, we have provided the previous version of the game
CD-ROM disc.  Open the directory QTW2.01 and run the setup program to re-
install the older version of the software.

ENSONIC SOUNDSCAPE SOUND CARD:
==============================
It is extreemly important you have the latest Windows drivers for your Ensonic 
SoundScape sound card.  Some earlier drivers will not work with Frankenstein.  Contact
the sound card manufacturer to obtain the most recent Windows drivers.

MUTITASKING:
============
We have found that you my experience performance problems if you are try to play
Frankenstein while running other programs.  You should quit other programs before
starting Frankenstein.

VIRTUAL MEMORY:
===============
You may be able to improve the performance of this game by setting up a permanent
virtual memory swapfile under Windows of at least 5MB.  Microsoft does not recommed
modifying virtual memory for Windows 95 users.  You should consult your Windows or
Windows95 documentation before attempting to modify virtual memory settings.
