CALLING YOUR 3D PET Click with the right mouse button (when not on the dog or on an active object) to call your 3D Pet. The pet may go to where you "whistled" (in which case you could reward him). You can carry your pet from room to room by bringing him FORWARD (down/towards you with the mouse) to the front of the game area and then moving the mouse left/right to go to the next room. NB. PUTTING YOUR PET TO BED You may pick up the pet using the right mouse button and place the pet on the bed or click on the bed when the relevant symbol appears as the mouse cursor. He will sleep until he's no longer tired plus a bit longer depending on how lazy he is. You could reward him when he gets up for doing so. BATH TIME Initially, your pet will be reluctant to have a bath. It will run away and you may have to bring the pet back and carry it into the bath. Once in the bath, you can use the left mouse button to wash your pet. You MUST carry your pet both into and out of the bath. Once it's out of the bath you could reward the pet and it will start to like bath time. THE BABYSITTER If you will be unable to play with your pet for more than 24 hours, then you must leave the Babysitter to look after your pet during your absence. When you come to exit the program, the EXIT screen will be displayed. Clicking on the top right-hand icon will turn on the babysitting service and exit the program. NB. Clicking on the top-left icon exits the program with no babysitter. If you use this option then YOU MUST feed and water your pet once a day or your pet will suffer. If you look after your pet well however, it will have a higher growth rate and lifespan than when left with a babysitter. HOUSE-TRAINING To house train your pet you must encourage/carry your pet to do his business in the garden. If successful in this regard you should reward your pet. A well-trained pet will automatically go to the garden (usually). HEALING If your pet becomes ill you can heal it by getting the medicine from the cabinet and giving it to the pet--once you have the medicine bottle simply left-click on the pet. FOOD AND DRINK Your pup is a greedy dog (like all dogs) and will eat until he's ill. It is best just to feed the dog when he is hungry. You can give him as much water as you like - he may ignore it. SPECIAL NOTE - OBEDIENCE Your pets obedience when your pet is born begins at zero. Only through careful training will you be able to increase your pets obedience up towards its maximum rating of 100. This means giving your dog a treat for all the good things it does : Toilet training / Bath times / Sleeping on the bed / Fetching an object back to you GENERAL NOTICE At time of shipping, we don't know of any problems with this 3D Pet product.
